Accommodation
Malta has a wide range of accommodation types but prices and availability are extremely seasonal.
During the summer season (June to August) Malta receives a lot of tourist visitors making accommodation more expensive.
During the off season (September to May) you can find better priced accommodation.
Accommodation types include:
- Host family accommodation
- Self-catering apartments
- Hotels
- Hostels
- Shared apartments
Host families suit students aged 12 to 18 enabling the student to live in a family home, with meals provided.
Self-Catering apartments are perfect for adults, small groups and families needing independence.
Hotels are ideal if you are looking for a holiday experience with the usual hotel facilities.
Hostels are the lowest price accommodation and usually you are sharing a room with several other guests.
Shared apartments are generally best if you are studying in Malta for several months.
