Clothes shopping

The main shopping areas for clothes and international brands is Sliema and Valletta. Both these areas contain large numbers of shops and outlets.

Food shopping

Usually there are smaller local shops close to your accommodation and a larger supermarket on the edge of your locality. Supermarkets are usually cheaper but not always.

Living in a area populated by non-Maltese will usually mean higher prices, whereas hunting out the Maltese only communities will mean lower prices.
